Launched on the 100th anniversary of the First World War, we partnered with The Race Equality Centre (TREC) to produce ‘Together We Won The War’, an examination of the contributions made by Britain’s POC communities in The Great War. Ultimately, we succeeded in providing young BIPOC with a more rounded, representative, and most importantly – accurate, image of the history of the British Military and the wars themselves.

The Rt. Honourable Keith Vaz MP on opening the exhibition said of the project,
“I am delighted that TREC has developed and launched this important historical exhibition to remind us of the vital roles played by other countries to support Britain in the war effort. I am pleased to have opened something as significant as this, which has national recognition, in my home town of Leicester.”
